OK, we know we are a little late with this one but we have had so many requests for halloween food tips this week that we thought we would create this post. Who knows, some of you might come back next year for some other great halloween recipes.
Our favourite halloween type of food are quite simply, potato skins! You can’t beat some well roasted potato skins with a touch of cheese, bacon and if you want to make it a little bit blood-curdling, ketchup and lots of it provides the perfect bloody look.
The easiest halloween party food to create are halloween cookies or halloween cup cakes. These are easy to make as you can literally just buy standard cup cakes off the shelf from your local supermarket and decorate them with whatever you like, spiders, monster faces, witches, skeletons etc - you get the idea. Both plain cookies and plain cook cakes offer the perfect base for you to design your spooky party snack. Obviously for this, you need to have some artistic capabilities. We wouldn’t want you to embarrass yourselves in front of your children.
If none of the above take your halloween fancy, then you can always stick with Pumpkin Soup or Ghou-lash. I know I know, cheesy joke.
The festive season is fast approaching and me and the FoodMania team have been wondering what we can buy for our friends, family and even work colleagues. It’s always tough at this time of year to come up with something practical. As we’re big food lovers, we have been searching for the perfect gift and we thing we have found it - wine gift baskets - the perfect present to accompany a good meal along with a touch of class to go with it… and not forgetting, the alcohol! If alcohol and drinking isn’t your think, we know there are some of you out there, then you might want to consider other style of gift baskets - there are lots out there from flowers, to confectionery to toiletries, lots to consider.
Gift baskets also make perfect corporate gifts. They retain the style and professionalism needed for the corporate environment and are perfectly fitting for both your office buddy, manager or even the company chairman! You can also send out corporate gifts to your clients to show you appreciate their business.
If it’s a very good client, you might also want to send them a champagne gift basket - I am sure the whole office will appreciate that!
